Most of them, yes! Our baked dog treats are handmade by us in small batches using simple ingredients and lots of love. Many of our treats are freshly baked for each market and topped up throughout the month to keep everything fresh and delicious.

To help preserve freshness naturally, our baked treats are frozen shortly after baking and carefully transported and stored.

We also stock a range of natural air-dried dog treats and single protein chews perfect for enrichment and dogs with allergies or sensitive stomachs.

Yes! We regularly attend the monthly Peel Street Markets as well as dog-related markets and pop-up events throughout the year.

At the Peel Street Markets, you’ll usually find us outside the old Commonwealth Bank building next to Baxter’s. We bring a huge range of our natural dog treats, handmade accessories, grooming products, and gifts for dog lovers.

Every dog and household is different, so grooming schedules can vary depending on coat type, lifestyle, and how much brushing is done at home.

At Pawfectly Stunning, the longest time we recommend between full grooms is 8 weeks. For longer-coated breeds such as Cavoodles, Moodles, Shih Tzus, and Oodles, we usually recommend grooming every 2–4 weeks to help prevent matting and keep coats healthy and comfortable.

Shorter-coated dogs or deshedding breeds are often suited to 4–8 week schedules.

Our baked treats are handmade by us using our own recipes and designs. They are preservative free, freshly made in small batches, and have a shorter shelf life due to their natural ingredients.

Regular coat maintenance is the key to preventing matting.

To help keep your dog mat free, we recommend:

• Regular brushing

• Routine bathing

• Thorough blow drying after baths

• Brushing again once fully dry

Leaving coats damp or unbrushed is one of the quickest ways for mats to form — especially in curly or long-haired breeds.

If weekly maintenance at home feels overwhelming, we’re always happy to help with a regular grooming schedule. Keeping your dog in a shorter clip or booking fortnightly maintenance appointments can make coat care much easier.

We strongly recommend vaccinations for all pets, however we do not currently require proof of vaccination for grooming appointments.

For the safety of all dogs in our care, any dog showing signs of illness at drop-off may be refused service. If your dog becomes unwell during their appointment, you may be contacted to collect them early and full grooming fees may still apply.

Using quality grooming products at home can help keep your pup smelling fresh between appointments.

We stock our salon’s favourite shampoos, conditioners, waterless shampoos, and delicious-smelling dog colognes in multiple sizes so you can maintain that freshly groomed smell at home.

Waterless shampoo options are especially handy for freshening up between baths without fully wetting the coat.

Natural dog treats can often be a better option for dogs with sensitive stomachs because they typically contain fewer additives, preservatives, and artificial ingredients.

That said, every dog is different and some pets may still have allergies or sensitivities to certain proteins or ingredients. We always recommend checking ingredients carefully and introducing new treats slowly.

Our natural, preservative-free treats are designed to be a healthier alternative to heavily processed supermarket treats — but all treats should still be fed in moderation and with supervision.

We offer gentle, low-volume boutique dog grooming in North Tamworth with a calm, low-stress environment designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable.

Unlike busy high-volume salons, your dog receives personalised care and individual attention throughout their appointment. We keep salon numbers intentionally low, with an absolute maximum of 8 dogs in the salon at one time, and family dogs comfortably grouped together where appropriate.

For dogs who benefit from extra quiet or individual attention, we also offer completely one-on-one grooming appointments on Saturdays for an additional fee.

Absolutely! We specialise in gentle, patient grooming for all dogs, including anxious, nervous, elderly, rescue, and sensitive dogs.

We work at your dog’s pace to create a positive and low-stress grooming experience wherever possible. If your dog becomes overwhelmed, we’re happy to slow things down, provide breaks, or even end the appointment early if needed.

Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing will always come before completing the groom. Sometimes that may mean going home a little damp — and that’s perfectly okay with us.

Most grooming appointments take between 1–3 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, behaviour, and the services booked.

Because we work calmly and at the dogs’ pace, timing can vary slightly throughout the day. We ask that owners wait for a text message before returning unless a specific pickup time has been arranged beforehand.

If you have been given a pickup time, please arrive as close to that time as possible, as it is usually both the earliest and latest your pooch will be ready to go home.

Matting can be painful, uncomfortable, and unsafe for dogs, especially when it pulls tightly on the skin or traps moisture underneath the coat.

For your dog’s comfort and welfare, severe matting may require a shorter clip than originally requested. At Pawfectly Stunning, we always prioritise humane grooming practices and your dog’s wellbeing over coat length.

Please note:

• Additional fees apply for heavily matted coats due to the extra time, care, and wear on equipment involved.

• We do not offer dematting under any circumstances, as it can be extremely painful and stressful for dogs.

Regular brushing and routine grooming appointments are the best way to prevent matting.

Yes — but we like to explain why.

Over the years, we’ve found that not all dogs are comfortable interacting with unfamiliar dogs in a salon environment. Some dogs are more anxious, some are more excitable, and some simply prefer their own space — and that’s completely okay.

For the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all dogs in our care, we do not allow direct interaction between dogs in the salon. Dogs rest in spacious, comfortable crates between grooming stages, with crate sizes selected based on your dog’s size and needs.

Family dogs may share larger enclosures together where appropriate. Our largest enclosures comfortably fit:

• Two large dogs, or

• One giant breed dog with plenty of room

This setup helps:

• Reduce stress and overstimulation

• Prevent accidental injuries or altercations

• Prevent accidental pregnancies

• Reduce the spread of illness

• Keep freshly groomed dogs clean and comfortable after their spa day

Our goal is always a calm, safe, and positive environment for every pooch.

Unfortunately not — although we absolutely understand wanting to stay close to your pooch!

Many dogs become far more excited, wiggly, vocal, or distracted when their humans are nearby, which can make grooming more stressful and less safe for both your dog and our staff.

You’re very welcome to wait nearby, however we kindly ask that you do not return early or wait directly outside the salon, as dogs are incredibly good at recognising familiar voices, scents, and even the sound of your car arriving.

Excited dogs can suddenly become more wriggly or reactive during grooming, which increases the risk of accidental injury.

Our focus is always on creating the calmest and safest grooming experience possible for your pet.

We use quality grooming products chosen for coat health, skin comfort, cleanliness, and sensitive skin needs where required.

We groom dogs up to approximately 30kg maximum.

Because we are a small boutique salon, we need to work within safe manual handling limits for both the dogs and ourselves. Large dogs can become extremely heavy to safely lift, support, or reposition during grooming — especially when they understandably decide they no longer want to cooperate!

While we may be small, we still aim to provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible for every dog in our care.

Yes! We offer nail trims and other quick maintenance services by appointment during business hours.

Our air-dried treats generally have a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored correctly in a cool, dry place.

Our preservative-free baked treats have a much shorter shelf life and should be:

• Refrigerated for up to 3 days, or

• Frozen for short-term storage if needed

While freezing is possible, we generally recommend using baked treats within one month for best quality and freshness.

Our baked treat range is mostly softer in texture, making them suitable for dogs of many ages and sizes.

Our air-dried treats and natural chews are generally firmer or harder and are better suited to adult dogs with healthy teeth and stronger chewing styles.

To help maintain our fabric accessories with their shape, structure, and overall cuteness, we recommend carefully blow drying fabric accessories after washing or allowing them to air dry flat.

Once your order has been posted, delivery timeframes are unfortunately outside of our control, however most parcels generally arrive within approximately 2–5 business days depending on your location and the postage service selected.

We are currently testing the best shipping methods for our preservative-free baked treat range to ensure they arrive safely and fresh. If you’d like to help us test baked treat postage, your order may be upgraded to Express Post in exchange for your feedback on how everything arrives.

Due to the nature of many of our products being consumable, personalised, or hygiene-related, returns and refunds are limited in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
